Fs-Icons specially designed for Ubuntu distribution, It really looks cool with every light or dark theme on Ubuntu. Personally I experienced these icons very beautiful and complete set for Ubuntu.

You can use Gnome-tweak-tool or Ubuntu-Tweak to change icons.
To install Fs-Icons in Ubuntu 12.10/12.04/Mint 13 open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:
