Install Minitube (Youtube Client) in Ubuntu/Linux Mint

Minitube is a native YouTube client. With it you can watch YouTube videos in a new way: you type a keyword, Minitube gives you an endless video stream.
Minitube does not require the Flash Player.
Minitube is not about cloning the original YouTube web interface, it aims to create a new TV-like experience.
Install Minitube in Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10, 11.04, 11.10, 12.04:
To Install Minitube on Ubuntu open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:
  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/minitube
  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get install minitube
If you face any problem in Ubuntu 12.04, Enter following command to fix it:
  • sudo apt-get purge phonon-backend-xine
That's it
