Disable/Enable Unity Lens with Lens Toggler in Ubuntu 12.04 Precise

Disable/Enable Unity Lens with Lens Toggler in Ubuntu 12.04 Precise

Lens Toggle is really nice tool for Ubuntu Unity to disable Unity lenses. There are no such applications to disable/enable lenses but it is available now. Without this tool the only way to disable any lens is to uninstall. It is only available for Ubuntu 12.04.

lens

To install Lens-Toggle in Ubuntu 12.04 open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:
  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:aking1012-com/lenstoggle
  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get install python-lenstoggler
When installation complete Go to Dash and search "Lens Toggler" open it disable/enable lenses and apply. Logout and login back to see the effect.
That's it, Enjoy
