LightRead is "Google Reader" client, Which is lightweight and allow you to sync news/rss online then read them offline without internet. LightRead basically requires Google account in order to use this application. You can easily manage your "Google Reader" feeds, digests, and other services with this client.
To install LightRead in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:
